Wait staff- front of house position

FROM THE STAFF AT Pengus's Pengus's Place looking for one person to join our team as wait staff/ front kitchen ( drinks and saladbar). It is a morning shift on Saturday & Sunday from 9a.m.-2p.m. We are a small (26 seats) family owned restaurant in “old” Magnolia. Pay is higher than minimum wage. Duties include setting up tables i.e. salt, pepper, napkins, etc.,making sure they are clean and sweeping/dusting dining room. Waiting on customers, taking orders, preparing their drinks, salads, and sauces, serving the food/drinks, busing tables & some dishwashing. We are looking for someone 18 or older, experience is not a must- we are willing to train you. The right person will have a friendly demeanor, clean appearance, and the ability to muti-task. You must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and lift at least 20lbs. We expect you to learn kitchen ettiquette, about our menu and goods, & show up in a timely fashion ready to work! Come have fun with us in a drama free kitchen! Training for this job will be Sunday, October 6th. Job starts October 11th with a possibility of going 4 days a week in late Nov-early Dec..
